Portrait

Fixed this up again! I think I am going to leave it where it's at now. I mainly wanted to practice on skin / face painting, and I'm happy with the outcome. :) It was a learning project, and with some more practice I think these kind of projects will be much easier. There are still some issues (lips, eyes) but, for now, I am satisfied with the progress.

Just warm up sketches

Just some warm up doodles before work. :) I am trying out a different approach to my sketches. Using the black instead of the blue lines makes me feel like I'm drawing with pen, and giving me more of a motive to draw lighter and refuse to use an eraser, though for this I did erase a little.

Made some changes to the face, continued to fine tune them as well and fixed the hair shape a bit more. Just spent about an hour or so on it today.

Image Reference used for the toad is from the book Frogs: inside their remarkable world by Ellin Beltz. Really neat book with lots of fun froggy and toad pictures.

Love Harley Quinn, so I did some sketches and expressions of her. :) I am not sure if this is the first time drawing her or not...but I rarely do. I even tried to draw an angry Ivy in there. :D
