Baby Dragons!

So I was watching How to Train Your Dragon and the Christmas special of that movie (which my mom got me), annnd they had baby dragons in the christmas special. Omg. Baby dragons. SO CUTE. So I drew some. :D This is a very naughty baby dragon :( He lit the bunny on fire.

MiniProject Concepts

So these are some costume concepts for this little project I've been playing with, which you can read more about here: http://justcallmeinsane.com/zizijourney.html

These designs are for a character piloting her ship via the sounds and notes played on her violin. Using the left arm (if looking directly at the picture, it would be your right) to hold the violin, I want the shoulder and upper arm area to be left bare so as not to interfere with this.

I realized that before I flesh out concepts for the interior of the ship being driven, it would be important to figure out what kind of person is running the ship. The first design is reminiscent of Star Trek and the general retro-scifi getup. It's very simple, and would call for a polished, clean looking ship. The second was inspired by a 'space nomad'. I still need to work on the design and add more scifi elements, but I am favoring this more, as the ship can be a bit more 'relaxed', as in looking more rugged and used as if it's seen may lightyears. The third was inspired by a more battle-esque space traveler. For this I thought of Farscape, Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones. I am probably going to take out the knee pads and shoulder pad.


I will be adding a fourth design later. :)
